This is where the main action takes place. It's divided into easy to navigate sections to make things as simple as possible. Blantant promotion is allowed and encouraged!

This is also where you can get your hands on some great free downloads. Excellent resources for writers to save to their computers.

The password for entering the forums is promo1. When you enter you will be able to set up your profile (not complusory but an extra way to promote what you do as gives the chance to upload a photo, add your weblink etc..) and post to the forums.

Video trailers

Now's the time to prepare your book video trailers and submit them for posting to the PROMO DAY website.

Although all genres of books are accepted I ask that video's are 'clean' as the event is open to all ages and would prefer not to have any 'upset' visitors.

To have your video trailer featured on site during the event just send the embed code by email to promoday@ymail.com with 'video trailer' in the subject line.

Deadline for submissions 1st April 2010.

On site Bookstore

On the PROMO DAY site you will find an on site Bookstore featuring a variety of books by the PROMO DAY crew.

The bookstore lists books by the PROMO DAY workshop presenters, moderators, sponsor and organiser.

From Saturday 9th May you will also be able to purchase your copy of the official PROMO DAY book here.

Cover art design

Although there was an inital interest in the design the cover art for the official PROMO DAY book contest nobody actual sent me any designs and therefore I will now be selecting the designer instead of having the cover art voted on.

As this is the first year PROMO DAY has an official book, maybe future events will get a bigger response from designers.

Book cover art designer needed

All book cover art designers wishing to have an opportunity to be the designer of the cover for the official PROMO DAY book should send their design ideas to promoday@ymail.com with 'cover art design' in the subject line by 1st March 2009

All entries received will be posted to the site along with the designers information and the design with most votes (as voted by the general public) will be the one used for the book cover.

This is a great opportunity for designers to promote their services and show off their skills to hundreds of authors and publishing companies. An opportunity not to be missed!
