How the forums work

The main action at Promo Day takes place in the on site forums which you can access by clicking on the 'Conference' tab at www.PromoDay.info

The forum is divided into different areas including:

• Testimonials
• Workshops
• Free downloads
• Promo general
• Writing samples
• Publishers
• Book reviews
• Useful links
• Video trailers
• Services
• Job listings
• Podcasts and radio shows.

Once you have registered for the event you will have access to the forums.

By clicking on the 'control panel' tab at the top of the forums you can personalize your profile.

You will be able to:

1. Create a personalized signature that will automatically be added to the end of all your posts during the event.
2. Upload an avatar
3. Add your website url
4. Include information about yourself e.g. occupation

The Forums

This is where the main action takes place. It's divided into easy to navigate sections to make things as simple as possible. Blantant promotion is allowed and encouraged!

This is also where you can get your hands on some great free downloads. Excellent resources for writers to save to their computers.

The password for entering the forums is promo1. When you enter you will be able to set up your profile (not complusory but an extra way to promote what you do as gives the chance to upload a photo, add your weblink etc..) and post to the forums.
