Sandy Lender returns as presenter at this years Promo Day. Sandy has been part of Promo Day for years and always delivers excellent information, tips, and ideas in her presentations and this year she'll be doing not one but TWO presentations!
"Pitch the Short Story"
When building your brand and getting your name out before or during the release of your book, one of the avenues you'll explore is that of sending stories to bloggers and magazines. Take this seminar with long-time magazine editor Sandy Lender for tips and advice on getting your foot in the door at the literary publication of your choice. Whether your interest is padding your portfolio, amassing bylines in a specific genre or getting paid, certain rules apply and others flex like reeds in the wind.
"Create Momentum!"
While waiting for your publisher to complete the editing and production process on your novel, or when you're between novels, you don't want to lose momentum. Are your newfound fans waiting for the next installment in a series? Some anticipation is great; that's why we write cliffhangers! But you want to keep them interested and salivating so they line up at midnight when the new book hits the streets. Let's talk about the little sparks that keep the fire burning and how you can fan the flames as the release date gets closer.
